Testing Facilities

Two categories of testing are conducted for wiring harnesses:

  • Routine testing, performed during the manufacturing process.Thorough end-of-line visual examinations for validating critical parameters
  • Non-routine tests

Routine Online Testing During Production:

During the production process, the following checks are performed:

  • 100% circuit inspection to confirm fitment and electrical continuity.
  • 100% visual examination to validate critical parameters.

Non-Routine Performance:

These tests encompass the following categories:

  • Electrical Testing
  • Mechanical Testing
  • Environmental Testing

In the electrical category, the following tests are conducted:

  • Oil immersion test
  • High Voltage Test
  • Conductor resistance and voltage drop measurements

In the mechanical and optical category, the following tests are performed:

  • Determination of insertion and withdrawal forces between couplers.
  • Assessment of crimping dimensions and strength.
  • Evaluation of the mechanical position of joints, branches, and overall critical dimensions.

Under the environmental testing category, the following assessments are carried out:

  • Exposure to salt spray for plated components.
  • Assessment of wire and sleeve cold resistance.
  • Evaluation of connector waterproofing.
