Manafacturing:
Testing Facilities
Two categories of testing are conducted for wiring harnesses:
- Routine testing, performed during the manufacturing process.Thorough end-of-line visual examinations for validating critical parameters
- Non-routine tests
Routine Online Testing During Production:
During the production process, the following checks are performed:
- 100% circuit inspection to confirm fitment and electrical continuity.
- 100% visual examination to validate critical parameters.
Non-Routine Performance:
These tests encompass the following categories:
- Electrical Testing
- Mechanical Testing
- Environmental Testing
In the electrical category, the following tests are conducted:
- Oil immersion test
- High Voltage Test
- Conductor resistance and voltage drop measurements
In the mechanical and optical category, the following tests are performed:
- Determination of insertion and withdrawal forces between couplers.
- Assessment of crimping dimensions and strength.
- Evaluation of the mechanical position of joints, branches, and overall critical dimensions.
Under the environmental testing category, the following assessments are carried out:
- Exposure to salt spray for plated components.
- Assessment of wire and sleeve cold resistance.
- Evaluation of connector waterproofing.
